The What Knots formed in late 2020/early 2021 at Neal's Restaurant in Proctorsville, VT to close out an incredibly challenging year for everyone. The band includes Sammy Blanchette (local Ludlow, VT resident formally from southern Connecticut), King Arthur Junior (singer songwriter from Rutland, VT) and Jim Yeager (multi-instrumentalist from the Woodstock, VT area). The three musicians work mainly as solo acoustic guitarists at various venues throughout Vermont. Working together as a power trio is an extra special treat for these guys once a month, if not more than once a month. Their catalog of covers range anywhere from blues, classic rock, jam band, reggae and country. They are not afraid to introduce their own originals in the setlist as well. As a group that just started, finding time to rehearse may be tough, but the beauty of the What Knots is their ability to engage the audience while challenging themselves onstage. As the group continues to perform a couple times a month, their catalog grows. Be sure to check out this power trio locally in Southern Vermont when dates are announced! This is an outdoor venue. Plenty of room to social distance and dance at the time!! You are welcome to bring chairs. Family friendly environment all ages admitted.
