Hoping for a reliable car

Hello im a female age 55, currently living at the Women's shelter in Reno, working full time as a hostess, desperately hoping to find a reliable car. My previous car was a Toyota Camry that quit running in January with a whopping 407,000. Miles. I was the second owner and that car was definitely my baby. Due to my car quitting, its definately been a struggle to just get to and from work, but i have managed to save almost 1800. dollars and am in need of a car. My dream car would be a little Honda or Toyota but i would be so happy with any little car that would be reliable and would pass smog.
