Join us for a fun run/walk of 0.5K (0.3 miles) around the Retire Path Advisors' parking lot to raise money for Fremont's new youth center The "race" for the rest of us! Join us on a not-so-difficult 0.3`1 mile jaunt around the Retire Path Advisors' parking lot for a great cause. The 2nd Annual Community Fundraiser 0.5K race will benefit Aspire for Greatness, an upcoming after school program starting in Fremont Nebraska for the 2021-2022 school year. This “race” is the elite physical activity for all physical abilities and was made to celebrate all the little achievements in life; like chasing down a run away object, catching a connecting flight, playing with a toddler, or sprinting to make it to your next class on time. Due to the grueling nature of the less than 10 minute course, donuts, juice, water, and coffee will be provided to all participants. The fun run/walk includes a medal for your achievement, donuts and coffee, prizes, and free kids' activities. Where: The race starts and ends in the Retire Path Advisors (formerly Thrivent Financial) office parking lot located at 340 East Military Street, Fremont. When: Saturday June 12, 2021. 9:00 am - registration opens 9:45 am - welcome and update on flood recovery Official start time is 10:00 am but you can "race" any time from 10:00-11:00. Why: To raise money for a great cause and have fun doing it.
