An all day open workshop to do your own things in a large clubhouse room (53' x 84'). Sew, Craft and Chat, AKA Sewing/Crafting Get Together! We’re Back!! I will be hosting a Sewing & Crafting day on Sunday, Jun. 13th, from 10 am-8:00 pm at Park Royale MHP in Orange, in between the UCI Medical Center and Angel Stadium, located at 300 N. Rampart St, Orange, CA, 92868, in the Clubhouse. The management is still charging $350 up front, and then refunding the $300 deposit 2 weeks later. To help share the cost, I am asking for $5.00 from anyone who attends. Please make a reservation as we are limited to 25 people due to management’s current rules. We will be spreading the tables out a little further. I’ll keep people updated with any changes. Bring your projects to work on! Come sew, prepare scrap-booking pages, make jewelry, organize for crafting supplies, or begin a new undertaking! There will be electricity, tables and folding chairs available, you may want to bring seat pads. Everyone will be responsible for returning the tables & chairs to the carts before they leave. I recently hurt my back and I would appreciate any help with clean-up that you can give. We will NOT have a potluck! Due to the current circumstances, I feel it would be best to be responsible for our own meals. I will ask for everyone to wear masks, as common-sense dictates. There is a full kitchen, including a fridge, stove and conventional ovens. The microwave is MIA, they are working on getting a new one. There are many restaurants and fast food places near-by, also Ralph's and Vons are within 2 miles in opposite directions on Chapman. A clothing exchange will be optional. I will bring a clothing rack for anyone to use. I will also be bringing lots of books. There will be tables for give-away items, and the stage area is available for items for “trade”. What you trade is up to you (I’m not allowed to say “sell”).
