HINGHAM, MA- The Hingham Harbormen boys lacrosse team faced the Scituate Sailors on Saturday evening. Hingham is coming off a dominating performance against Whitman-Hanson by the score of 19-1. Scituate is coming off a 12-8 win over the Marshfield Rams. In the first quarter, Henry Crean scored the first goal for the Harbormen. Matt Falvey scored the next goal for Hingham, with 8:36 left in the quarter. Owen Hoffmann scored his goal for Hingham and then Falvey scored his 2nd. Paul Forbes scored the last goal for the Harbormen to close the quarter with the lead 5-0. In the second quarter, Matt Falvey started off the quarter with his third goal of the game. Then, James Sullivan scored the first goal for the Sailors. Then, Falvey and Charlie Packard scored the last two goals for Hingham in the first half. In the third quarter, Lars Osterberg, Hoffman, Forbes, Connor Hartman, Cian Nicholas, and Falvey all scored goals for the Harbormen while the Hingham defense was solid and did not allow any goals in the quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Sailors got their second goal of the game to start the quarter. Then Forbes and Falvey (his second) got their hat trick goals in the quarter. Then. Cal Crawford scored his first goal of the game to make it 17-2. Scituate got one more goal before the game was over, in which Hingham won 17-3. Hingham's next game will be at Duxbury to face the Dragons on Tuesday at 4 p.m. start time.
