Hello all, In case you haven’t noticed the housing market here is insane. I’ve rented here for two years, lived in Cambridge before that, but I love Arlington so much more. My partner’s family owned on Franklin until his grandmother passed away at 93. I’ve lived all over the US, and to be honest Arlington in feel and people is the best place I have lived. But I would like to buy! I have made three offers on properties, was outbid by a little on all. I’d love to find a 3 plus bedroom, NOT renovated, I designed my own kitchen previously and would like to do it again. I can get creative with absorbing fees and waving contingencies. If you were thinking about selling but don’t want to go through a lot of hassle or extra expense my realtor can do the paperwork. I’d like to buy before this lease is up in September. I plan to stay here with my two children for a very long time— if you have a home that was loved and you raised a family in it, if it holds a special place in your heart, and the thought of letting it go is a lot, please know I understand but I would love to grow my family in it too.
