July 9th, you will have the opportunity to attend a special meet-n-greet event with your guest investigators for the weekend. None other than Daryl Marston and Mustafa Gatollari from the paranormal television show Ghost Hunters! Not only will get the opportunity to meet Daryl and Mustafa, photo opportunities with both Daryl and Mustafa, and learn about how they became interested in the paranormal. Then on July 10th, join Daryl and Mustafa for an evening of investigating the most photographed building in Clinton, NJ....the haunted Red Mill Museum Village! The oldest parts of the mill were built in 1810 by Ralph Hunt to process wool. The Hunt family owned several mills in the area and nearly 400 acres of land. Unfortunately, Mr. Hunt's business failed within a decade and the mill was eventually purchased by John Bray and John B. Taylor. The Taylor family was a prominent family at the time, and changed the town's name to Clinton after New York Governor, DeWitt Clinton. Unfortunately, the Taylor family business also failed. The mill was then bought by John W. Snyder, who transformed it into a gristmill and ceased wool production. He quickly fell into debt and one failure after another, rumors went around town that the land the mill was on was cursed. The property continued to change hands rapidly. It served as a graphite mill which filled the town with thick black dust. In 1928, the mill was closed when the property was sold to the Clinton Water Supply company. Mill work was very dangerous in the 1800s, with little to no safety measures in place. Workers were often maimed or killed and there are a number of verified stories of untimely deaths surrounding Red Mill. Stories tell of a mill worker who fell into the third floor hopper and suffocated to death. Ohers mention a young boy who lived on the property that was cleaning a revolver when it discharged. Still more say the spirit of a young girl whose father worked at the mill often comes to visit. a verified tale involves the tenant house on the property---documentation shows a death of a heart attack. Guests of Red Mill have reported hearing footsteps in vacant areas of the tenant house, objects moving with no clear cause throughout the property and even seeing a man on the third floor of the mill. Many mentioned the authentic period re-enactor on the third floor....but the mill does not employ period re-enactors! Two nights! Two different events! Two incredible paranormal investigators! One location.....Red Mill Museum Village! There are different packages to choose from! July 9th is our special "Meet-n-Greet" event where you will get the chance to have your photos taken with Daryl Marston and Mustafa Gatollari, get autographs and listen to their discussion on how they got into the paranormal field and on the television show Ghost Hunters! Then we have our July 10th event for those who would rather prefer to just ghost hunt this incredible location with Daryl and Mustafa! And then, we have the VIP package. VIP ticket holders get access to both nights! JOIN FLUMERI PROMOTIONS AND HUNT WHAT HAUNTS YOU!
