Looking for people for causal jams in the South Bay who are versatile musicians and want to get together for the sake of playing/making good music. - Do you care about putting work into the craft of music but also have a busy life outside of it? - Would you like to not have to deal with band drama but still want to play with other human beings? - Do you have chops to go from rock to jazz (not necessarily pro level)? - Would you like to have a side project which doesn’t cause conflicts with your band? - Does the idea of a happy hour before playing sound attractive to you (no drugs or getting hammered)? This may be a good fit for you... This is not a typical gigging band but a group of people who are passionate about music and their instruments and meet on a somewhat regular basis. Originals out of improvisation, bring your ideas or cover songs it’s all valid but this is not your typical classic rock or top 40 songs... Gigs would be okay too but as long as it’s a no pressure just for fun type of thing. The rehearsal place would be a studio at the South Bay rented by the hour to not have dependency on a single individual. Please send some samples of your playing. If you don’t have any, this is probably not a good project for you. If you don’t have transportation and good gear this is probably not a good fit for you either, sorry no offenses but better be upfront.
