Dear Families, I will be available for a part time nanny or teaching position starting in June or July. I could potentially start in May or in August. I am open to a temporary job. I’ve been a nanny in SF, Berkeley and Oakland over the last 18 years. I have been caring for an infant in the Lower Haight and the family has moved out of state. I’ve worked for families in the Mission area, Bernal Heights and Noe Valley before. I’m excited to find a nanny position with toddlers - 4 year olds or a private teaching position with one family or 2. I am for a fulltime position or just part time steady hours. I’m also available for occasional care, evenings / weekends. I am seeking a new position as my nearly 3 year nanny position ended in September. I cared for two children from different families, sharing and one on one. I started at the age of 13 months and they are nearly 4 years old. Both families would be happy to speak to you as a reference. They have both have moved from the area. My Start date is flexible. I’ve cared for infants but mostly 1, 1, 2, 3 ans 4 year olds for almost 20 years. I was a substitute teacher for a well known local preschool I am a mindful educator searching for a nanny position or babysitting hours. I have solid local long term references for childcare work, also housesitting and pet sitting. I’ve been working as a nanny through the COVID SIP months as the parents I worked for were essential workers. I just had a fee months break. I was also considering being a private “pod” nanny or teacher for 4 or 5 year olds. I taught preschool in Taiwan (ESL) and assisted at a Waldorf preschool program in upstate New York I’m very outdoorsy, crafty, sporty - Well rounded. I have lived in the Bay Area for 17 years. It’s home! I am from NJ, lived in NYC, and a few countries in Asia.
