Seeking Funky Drummer

Need a cat that has been playing drums for decades, always leaned towards funky, likes to hang in the pocket and slice it nice- dark, thin cymbals that don't overly sustain. I like my snares tight. I grew up with the meters, brand new heavies, steely Dan, little feet, James brown. Check out groups like Vulfpeck, The Haggis horns. Just to name a very few. I've also been attracted to funky blues music. My ideal group? We write originals, work well in a creative environment. Everyone is tight. The sky is the limit. Any style can groove. I suppose that's what I'm all about. Those groovy pockets. Hit me up. I'M MOTIVATED! And every venue I play with my current project gets up an moves around when it's funky! So I need more funky!
