Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/15/2021 211351687 Preliminary Information: On 5/15/21, around 8:14 pm, officers responded to a person shot at the location of 2931 River Ridge Dr. SE. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was shot during an attempted carjacking by a male suspect whom the victim appears to be familiar with. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
