Who should apply- Looking for an extremely hard working, detail oriented, high energy, kind and compassionate person. Must have a flexible schedule and be reliable, trustworthy, and work focused. Job description- Employee will be responsible for keeping the home clean, neat, tidy, and organized at all times. Please only apply if you are willing to work hard, and have extreme attention to detail. Looking for someone who is over the top about cleanliness and organizational skills. Someone who loves kids and dogs is a must. We have 2 children ages 13 & 4 and 2 dogs. The job will occasionally require childcare and dog sitting. Ideally someone who loves to cook or can at least follow a recipe. This is very much a hybrid housekeeping/nanny role, so we are seeking someone who is 100% comfortable with deep cleaning and child care. It is important that you are OK to tag team with mom as there will be many instances in which you are trading tasks. This is a NO ego position – please be respectful and accommodating of the family’s wishes and systems that are already set in place. Must be willing to go with the flow, roll up your sleeves, and take over wherever/whenever needed. Must be willing to follow specific directions about cleaning and tidying etc. Please have your own vehicle and clean driving record as you will be needed to pick up from school on occasion or drive kids to activities. Requirements: • CPR/First Aid certified • A valid Driver’s License • Happy to travel with the family if required (internationally) • Relevant applicable previous experience, ideally with children of similar ages • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers • Happy to have a background check • COVID VACCINE *NOT* REQUIRED Key Responsibilities* Housekeeping – 80% Household Cleaning • Cleaning throughout the house: vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, wiping windows, etc. • Tidying all rooms to ensure items are neatly stored and rooms look tidy and clean • Tidying the outdoor spaces of the property, including the entryway, stairs, patio, etc. • Washing and/or wiping down outdoor furniture as needed, ensuring proper storage when seasons change • Tidying up after mealtimes Cooking • Light cooking, able to follow a recipe • Making healthy snacks for the children Supplies • Keeping a list of supplies needed Mail • Sorting mail and opening packages • Unpacking, and putting away household deliveries Laundry & Clothing Care • Assisting with laundry, hand washing and ironing • Ensuring linens and towels are clean • Properly folding, organizing drawers and closets Supporting the Family & Team • Personal shopping and running errands as needed • Preparing for family travel, assisting with packing and unpacking luggage • Looking after the family pets as needed • Greeting guests, couriers and tradesmen at the door and overseeing appointments when necessary • Traveling with the family on occasion Nannying – 20% Childcare • Helping out when needed to watch 4 year old boy. Take him to the park or play with him at the house •Help with bathing 4 year old and getting him to bed at night occasionally •Occasionally driving the kids to/from activities •Occasional weekend and evenings • Tidying the children’s bedrooms and play areas to ensure all games, books, toys, etc. are picked up, cleaned, and stored in their proper location • Looking after the health and well-being of the children • Must have high energy and be physically fit to keep up with BUSY ACTIVE boy. Job Type: Full-time or part time Pay/Hours: The job days/times are flexible and pay depends on skills and experience. Hours could be full or part time. Live-in or Live-out an option. 16-40 hours a week. This could be a very long term position if it’s the right fit. Bonus pay after 90 day trial period.
