Drummer/Percussionist/Vocalist available! Transplant from the PA music scene where I've worked steadily for the past 30 years...cover bands, acoustic duo's (acoustic guitar and cajon/percussion), progressive rock bands, blues rock bands, country bands, original bands and even a circus band one summer! I read and write charts thanks to being classically trained many moons ago as a percussion performance major but also just many "street learning" gigs working with great musicians. I'd love to work with a project along the lines of Kenny Wayne Shepherd, SRV, Black Country Communion, Gov't Mule, Shaman's Harvest, Joe Bonamassa, Jonny Lang, Eric Gales...etc etc. I grew up (like many) learning from Bonham and Peart as well as numerous others! As a vocalist, I mostly sing harmonies since it's still awkward for the drummer to be the lead vocalist. I've lost some high notes (can't hit those stratosphere Boston harmonies anymore...but I can still get close to them!) but can still sing some of those Timothy Schmit highs with the Eagles. I listened to and sang along with a lot of female vocalists so I developed a strong falsetto and tenor voice. For an acoustic duo or trio, I play cajon and accessorize with shakers, tambourines, guiro's, and just about anything I can strap to my feet or hands. Multitasking seems to be in my DNA! lol I can do small set up's with the cajon, or a kick/sn/hat set up, small 4 pc kit or large 6 pc kit. All depends on what the gig requires. Light, soft gig with hands or brushes to loud, full-kit gigs.
