Local Van Rental company is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. Experience not necessary but is a PLUS! Willing to train the right person. This position pays $12.00 an hour with a salary review after 90-days. This position is part-time while training; Approximately 20-25 hrs. per week. Once fully trained, this position will be Full-Time; approximately 32 - 40 hrs. per week as needed. Health Benefits will be available after 90-days of full-time employment Face-Masks are required, along with social-distancing, at all times while in our office. The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing vehicles in accordance with company policies to ensure that all vehicles rented are safe and clean. Job Duties: • Take vehicles to the local Automatic Drive-Thru Car Wash to wash, clean and dry vehicle exterior • Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior • Clean and sanitize vehicle interior • Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate • Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield damage • Check fluid levels and add as needed • Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth • Assist customers as needed • Transport customers to and from the airport • Deliver vehicles locally to customers • Occasionally deliver/pick up vehicles from our Irvine, CA office • Take vehicles to mechanic for maintenance and/or repair • Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exterior of the office • Assist manager as needed Job requirements • Must be 21 yrs. of age or older • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record • Must have reliable transportation • Must be flexible in schedule • Must be able to work weekends if needed • Must be dependable • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
