🔴RNB is looking for a committed Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic Assistant 🔴 We are a family-owned Truck Shop based in Chicago IL and we are looking to expand our team! Location: 6850 W. 63rd St, Chicago IL 60638 Job duties: Tractor and Trailer repairs Support equipment repairs Inspections Read and understand equipment electrical circuits and diagrams Addressing breakdowns, problems, and discrepancies, including troubleshooting Adjust, overhaul and maintain Diagnosis and testing of equipment, in order to ensure it is in safe and working condition Safely operate shop supplied heavy-duty tools Perform inspections on company-owned equipment Job Requirements: Previous experience (Assistant Mechanics with experience will be prioritized) Having experience with Volvo, Mack, and Freightliner trucks Diagnostic Technicians Previous experience with maintaining and preparing Heavy-Duty Engines  Knowledge of DOT out-of-service criteria   Benefits: Extensive support, Competitive payment, Flexible hours.
