Responsibilities • Schedule, monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments with carriers • Prepare and record outbound shipments using inventory system and creating pack lists • Read, interpret and generate shipping labels and pack lists • Pack and wrap boxes or pallets and load various inventory for outbound shipments • Receive, verify, and record inbound shipments • Identify and tag inventory using labels or electronic information • Move inventory safely and efficiently between adjacent warehouses using forklift, carts, pallet jacks or manually • Verify accuracy of moves using documentation and proper shelf location • Record inventory moves in inventory system timely and accurately • Maintains accuracy and attention to detail while using inventory system to ensure accountability for all units. • Perform inventory cycle counts and update inventory system • Frequent verbal and written contact with production manager • Stage inventory for production • Managing and creating purchase requests of shipping and assembly supplies • Maintain equipment, supplies and work area in clean and safe manner • Assist assembly team as directed • Other responsibilities and tasks assigned by production manager Requirements • Highschool degree or equivalent • Minimum 2 years of shipping or receiving experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Read, write, comprehend and speak English • Average math skills • Positive attitude and courteous demeanor • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, taking direction well • Ability to maintain high degrees of accuracy, reliability, and manage multiple tasks with flexibility • Excellent time management, organization, critical thinking and problem solving skills • Physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling and positioning inventory • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds alone, not allowed to lift more than 50 pounds without assistance • Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with all company policies • Pass drug test and background check Preferred skills and experience • Forklift experience, training or certification • 3+ years shipping experience • Working within an automated inventory system environment • Good general computer skills • Competent Excel spreadsheet user Benefits Paid Holidays Paid Vacation & Sick Leave Medical, Vision and Dental 401(k) plan with employer matching
