Signature Landscape Care is seeking a full time Irrigation Service Technician. We are seeking highly motivated, goal oriented, hard-working individuals with at least two years of residential and commercial experience. Punctuality, reliable attendance, and a strong work ethic are essential to this role. The ideal candidate should thrive when working as part of a team as well as independently. Must be willing to keep up with industry technology and trends and have a desire to continually develop knowledge base and skill set. Our irrigation technicians are responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness and efficiency of the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems for our customers. Potential applicants should have strong communication skills, and be able to read and write English (Spanish is a plus!). Primary Responsibilities include: • Knowledge of layout and installation of both large and small commercial and residential irrigation sprinkler systems. • Knowledge of repairing and maintaining all types of irrigation components including electrical components, such as clocks and timers. • Knowledge and ability to identify system repairs and improvements. • Knowledge and ability to operate various irrigation machinery and tools • Spring evaluations and start-up. • Winterization and blow-out. • Mid-season inspections. • Keeping up to date historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection, main line location, and a detail of services performed and parts installed. • Ability to work individually and as part of a team • Ability to troubleshoot and exhibit sound decision making skills. Qualifications: • Must have at least 2 years’ commercial irrigation experience. • Ability to identify necessary system repairs and improvements. • Ability to troubleshoot and exhibit sound decision making skills. • Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers and supervisor. • Ability to pull, push and lift up to 50 pounds. • Physical ability to dig, trench, and restore turf when required. • Strong attendance record and punctuality • Have a valid Oregon Drivers License with a clean record. • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
