Description
I took these birds in from a neglect situation and didn’t intend to keep them as long as I have! They CAN NOT be grouped together because the males get fierce over the females as they’re not evenly matched! All are healthy, except for one male that the other 2 males seem to pick on. I will split them up, or rehome together. I will gladly give the smaller cage for right fit! They aren’t the kind of birds you handle, just enjoy their song and busy antics!! Low expense in caring for them, however, they need to have their cage cleaned once a week, fed every few days, fresh water every day. They also need toys and stimulation within the cage. Seeds and feathers need to be cleaned daily. If you’re trying to teach your kids compassion, responsibility and how to care for an animal, these are great for that! If you put an even number of males/females together with a nest and nesting material, they will nest and make babies!
Small, negotiable rehousing fee to ensure they’re going to a caring, safe environment.
