Join Adam Maynard of SoundBody and Guest Teacher, Andrea Yeisley, for an in-person fusion of Dance with Mindfulness and Meditation.
In one hour each week, enjoy exploring what mindful movement can do for you. Develop confidence and awareness of your own body and of others. Unlock new levels of creativity and a deeper sense of connection to other people and to nature. Enjoy the feeling of being present in a safe, welcoming environment.
A little of what to expect:
10:15am Come early to get in the vibe with grounding rhythms and the sounds of nature around us.
10:30am (sharp) Guided warmup with isolations and integrations to develop the mechanics of our bodies, plus a little dance cardio for our hearts.
10:50am: All-Levels choreography set to Latin and Caribbean rhythms to challenge the mind and sharpen mind-body connection.
11:10am: Dance meditation and breathwork with a relaxing cool-down.
What to bring *No shoes required*
-Comfortable clothing

-Pen and Notebook
