Lebanon County Local Band Seeks Keyboard/Guitar-Player Vocalist The band consists of veteran musicians playing an array of covers from classic-rock, late 90's AAA, original, and contemporary music.  Currently a standard four-piece (looking for the RIGHT FIT) that meets at least one night a week (mostly Wednesdays) for rehearsal. Covers are an array from Neil Young, Radiohead, The Waterboys, Tragically Hip,Weezer, Green Day, The Black Pumas, The Avett Bros. etc. -all done in a more "jam style" conistent with DMB Band Govt. Mule, or the Grateful Dead. (Meaning that there are extended jams and some songs are a mash-up). All current personal are fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and we are lining up shows (one or two/month) as things reopen. The rehearsal area is safe,spacious and secure, but on the third floor. The following attributes are required: - No criminal background, addiction to drugs, or alcohol. - Must be an accomplished keyboard player that owns their own professional grade equipment. This includes keys, guitar, keys-stand, microphone, cables, and appropriate backline amp(s) for playing moderate to large rooms. - Must be over the age of 21. (Sorry kiddoes but we play where alcohol is served). - Able to transport their own equipment up and down stairs, as well as to and from shows. - Able to sing harmony in a high-tenor or alto range. - Able to attend rehearsals once a week without transportation or child-care issues. (Again mostly Wednesdays) - Have a strong understanding of music theory. - Willing to put extra time in to learn/practice on their own. - Have a long term commitment to a band in mind. Ideal candidates have all of the above and include: - Having an incredible high voice and ear for pitch. - Being able to be a skilled 3rd guitarist or percussionist when the occasion arises. - Able to adjust their schedule for "Pop-up" shows or extra rehearsals if needed. - Some type of music education or music teaching credentials. - Some experience in a professional band and/or recording studio environment. - Able to put politics aside for the respect of good music.
