Description

This is a 1 day experience where you will gain real education and true insight from innovative entrepreneurs and top influencers! Join us in May 2021*, at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, CA for the Create To Innovate symposium from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. At the event, you will learn from innovative, successful entrepreneurs and top influencers. Hear first-hand how they created success from nothing and leave with real take-aways on how to start from "SquarE 1" and get to the next level. Hear from the pioneer of the beauty influencer industry turned entrepreneur Michelle Phan. After growing a fan base of millions, she co-founded beauty subscription service Ipsy. Michelle built it to a value of $500 million, sold her share and left for a social detox. A year later she returned to create her own brand: EM Cosmetics. As well as Michelle receiving countless publications and awards for her innovative approach to beauty, her youtube channel alone has 8.9 million subscribers and 1.1 billion lifetime views. Not only has Michelle influenced millions internationally, she is also Forbes "Top 30 Under 30". Gain insight from Riverside local, Jose Montero, founder of Blue and the creator of the innovative and environmentally friendly Blue Smart Card. At 26, Jose has created the smartest business card in the world and a social app that uses bluetooth to help introduce you to others nearby, fostering true authentic social interactions. Last quarter of 2019, Blue has experienced explosive growth of selling over 25,000 Blue Smart Cards all over the world creating over 350,000 social interactions. Among other speakers, there will be entrepreneurial and influencer panels pulling from a multitude of industries including: beauty, art, fitness, music, fashion & merchandising, and cinematography. The influencer panel will be addressing growing reach, monetization, stacking income, and turning entrepreneur. The entrepreneur panel will be addressing the importance of the entrepreneurial mindset and their key factors to success. Take two quick classes from entrepreneur, and professor of entrepreneurship, Frank Almeida, on how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and how to start from where you are and get to the next level. These classes will apply to everyone in the audience, whether you intend to be an influencer, entrepreneur, or both. Frank is co-founder of BoldFACE Global -- a private label manufacturer with sales in both the US and EU, for a total of six countries -- and teaches entrepreneurship to both graduate and undergraduates at Cal State University, San Bernardino and at Riverside City College. The event will be hosted by Megan "Megs" Cahill. Megs is a celebrity makeup artist, and an influencer turned entrepreneur with 100,000 + social reach. You may find her face in stores and campaigns worldwide or making over your favorite social media star. The symposium is chalked full of education, insight, and connections. While the event promises to be an eventful day, there will be lunch and snacks provided with segmented breaks. Although lunch, snacks, and breaks are provided, please come well-rested and fed PRIOR to the event. It is important to arrive with your "A" game to get the most out of the day and connect with other like-minded individuals. Parking for the event is $10 in addition to the ticket price. There may be free street parking available nearby. Arrive early to increase your chances of the free street parking, as it is not guaranteed. Thank you for purchasing your ticket(s). We look forward to seeing you there. *Due to COVID-19 and California state mandate, the Create to Innovate symposium, has been postponed again from Sunday, September 20, 2020, to May 2021.
