Jazz, R&B, Classic Standards, Pop & Classical vocalist Sunday Sessions Concert Series Labeled as one of the most versatile vocalists in the area, songstress Julie Baker puts her heart and soul into each and every performance. She believes that her audiences deserve to experience the best performance possible and she strives to deliver. Although she is classically trained with a degree in vocal music education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with an emphasis on voice and theatre), Julie's vocal abilities span across a plethora of genres including Jazz, R&B, Classic Standards, Pop & Classical. Her versatility enables her to please a wide variety of audiences along with her warm crystal clear voice coupled with her animated stage presence. She attributes much of her knowledge and ability to entertain to her experience and training as a member of the Scarlet & Cream Singers while in college. It was there where she learned how to entertain and connect with an audience. She is very grateful for that training that has served her well throughout her musical career. Audience members leave Julie's performances with a smile on their face. She is in high demand as a vocalist around the area due to her reputation of delivering a quality performance that touches all who hear her.
