AmpSurf™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities.
Our Surf on Saturday (SOS) program is aim at teaching anyone living with a disability how to surf.
AmpSurf provides all necessary surfing equipment and wetsuits, Certified Surf Instructors are available to teach any Veteran wanting to learn to surf.A beach access wheelchair is available for anyone who requires it.
SOS SCHEDULE8:30 to 08:45 AM - Meet, greet and suit up
8:45 to 9:00 AM – Dry land instruction
9:00 to 11:30 AM – In-water surf instruction
12:00 to 12:30 PM - Wrap-up
Anyone wanting to learn to surf should bring the following items: Swim suit, Towel, Sun screen, Picture ID
AmpSurf will provide a surfboard, wetsuit, and rash guard. A beach wheelchair is available if needed.
