this is Oakley, he is the sweetest 7 year old good boy you will ever meet. He has been 100% blind his entire life and only wants to be touched, cuddled, and pet. He was at the pound for over an entire year because of his separation anxiety, but since ive had him the last 3 years he is kennel trained and does not mind chilling in there when no one is home. He is good with other dogs and cats, although it did take a few months for him to lose interest in wanting to chase my cat, they now chill together on the same bed. he is pretty low energy, he knows “sit”, “laydown”, and “go lay down on your bed”... we are working on “stay” a little better. he is very eager to please, just a little slow on account of not being able to see. since having Oakley, I had to inherit two more dogs because of a loved ones passing, and i no longer have the time or space to give Oakley the love that he deserves. he comes with a couple sweaters and a very sturdy kennel, and i am asking a small re-homing fee. Oakley is fine being independent, but he would really benefit with someone that could be a closer companion than i can be, and someone who is home a lot so he doesn’t have to be stuck in his kennel. you can text me if you are interested.
