Press release from the Lindenhurst Union Free School District: May 14, 2021 Lindenhurst Union Free School District extends its congratulations to the studentswho were recognized as Special Education PTA awards recipients during a virtualceremony posted on the district's website. "Throughout the past 12 months all of our students have experiencedunprecedented challenges," said Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and PupilPersonnel, Bret Kearney. "The students who are being honored have overcome thesechallenges and adapted to their new learning environment. Through their efforts, theefforts of our teaching staff, administrators and support staff we have been able to have asuccessful 2020-2021 school year." Students from each of the elementary schools, middle school, high school andLindenhurst Academy were announced as their photo was shared on screen.
