FRANKFORT, IL — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted. Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year's grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one. Lincoln Way East student Miranda Kosek will graduate this year. Plans after graduation: Miranda will be majoring in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix AZ Accomplishments: Illinois State Scholar, Magna Cum Laude, National Honor Society, National Honor Society in Math & Science, Commendation Award toward the Illinois Seal of Biliteracy, Volleyball, Cross Country, Gator Swim Club, Griffin Crew, SADD Club. Special message: Miranda we are extremely proud of your accomplishments during these past 4 years! You never cease to amaze us and are looking forward to what your future holds!
