May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Portland Public Schools is committed to celebrating student identity as a part of uplifting wellness and to supporting all of our students to stay healthy, mentally and physically.
PPS Student Support Services collaborates with staff and partners to provide a wide range of supports, from our school social workers and counselors to our community partners. To find services available at your school, visit http://ppsfamilysupports.com/.
We are offering a peer led suicide prevention workshop in early June; we hope your middle or high school student will consider joining us for this important discussion. More information to follow.
