Here’s Neville. He’s a 9 month old CKC registered full blooded Dalmatian. He’s been living with our family since he was 7 weeks old. He loves kids. He’s cool with other dogs once he gets used to them. He doesn’t need a home with cats or other small critters. Simply put - he will go after them. He hasn’t caught anything yet but I don’t imagine it’ll be a good thing. He is crate trained for bedtime and when you’re gone. Just give him a rawhide and he’s right as rain in there. He’s also potty trained. He hasn’t gone in the house in over 3 months. But he does get walked every couple hours so he is used to not having to hold it very long. He’ll get whiny and let you know. Speaking of walks - Neville isn’t the brightest when it comes to walking on a leash or a harness. Honestly I think it might be his kink or something. He’s all muscle and it’s gotten to the point it’s putting him, my teens, and even myself in danger. He does know some basic commands such as sit and shake. He listens great except on that dang leash. He’s very loyal and protective. He isn’t a biter but he does play rough with all my boys. He hates baths. Loathes them entirely so either a professional or 2-3 people to groom him. I’ve come to realize we aren’t equipped to handle Neville. I love him so much and this hasn’t been an easy decision to come to. But my boy deserves a lot better than we can give him. He needs to go to a home that has knowledge on Dalmatians. I think he would do really great in a home that already has an older (but not senior) dog that he can learn from. He’s still a puppy and has a WHOLE lot of energy. I’ll have questions for you. I’ll ask for photos of your home. I’m not dumping my boy at a shelter or giving him to the first person I hear from. I want to ensure he’s going to his forever home. I am more than happy to have meet ups so you can see if you vibe or not. There will be a rehoming fee. Im not sure what amount yet.
