I have a 8 month old female lutino cockatiel with a rehoming fee Info: She is 8 months old and already starting to want to breed. I am rehoming her because I have learned that you can not breed two lutino cockatiels together because it will/can cause defects. She is hand fed however is only somewhat tame. The only issues with her is getting her out of the cage. However once she is out she does very well with stepping up and being held. She will even let you kiss on her without her flying off. She will only bite you if you try and grab her from behind over the wings. With more TLC I believe she will be a very good pet bird. Or you can just have her as a breeding hen. Her rehoming fee is $250 however this is negotiable to the right home. We can deliver however there will be an extra charge due to the rise of gas prices. She only comes as herself no cage or accessories included so I suggest you have that ready prior to picking her up. As with any new animal or pet; please do your research prior to purchase. They are very easy birds to care for however dietary requirements can be a little bit tricky if you do not have prior experience. She enjoys mostly seed however I have been working on getting her switched to pellet/fresh veggies but like any other seed crazy bird it can be tricky in getting them to switch to more healthy foods. But far worth it in the long run if you can do this. I say this because I really want her to go to a home that cares and doesn't just want to throw her in a small cage and use her for breeding purposes.
