US: We’re a small growing tree care company with room to grow (pardon the pun). Our services include tree pruning and trimming, full removals (we do our best not to remove), pest identification, arborist support, cabling, air-spade, and selective soil and trunk injections. YOU: Must be safe and reliable. You must be physically able to handle up to ten hours a day of manual labor. You’re willing to take on new skills. And finally, you’re friendly. We can work in high stress situations, level-headedness is a must. This is a full time job with likely shorter hours in the winter and longer hours in the summer. We currently work 4/10s. We are looking for skilled and new ground crew members who value arboriculture, are committed to keeping each other safe and want to have fun at work. Basic rigging knowledge and techniques ideal, but this can be taught on the job. Must be willing to gain knowledge and understand ISA/ANSI pruning standards. We encourage all of our employees to become certified arborists, which ultimately equals more pay. Required qualifications: - Valid drivers license - Solid work ethic - Safe, professional, and reliable - Must be willing and able to work in all outdoor weather conditions all year Preferred skills: -Experience with trees -TCIA knowledge -Friendly customer service skills Work includes heavy lifting, use of sharp tools, safe use of chainsaws, tying knots, raking, sweeping, taking directions, and asking questions.
