47 year old recently single retired military officer seeking a plutonic (straight) only friendship, for one year, with the two way possibility of a Long term relationship. I want friendship first and always, and if we are compatible beyond friendship after a year - we will celebrate that. But I want to be your friend in 10 years either way. I own two small companies, one transportation and one woodworking. I miss having someone to go to dinner with, movies with, and take walks with. I have two young children, partial custody. I have a Labrador service dog, exceptional, who has helped me immensely in my recovery from major combat trauma. And I want someday - to be someone's near perfect husband. But for today, I seek a friend, and do so with major respect up front. I am committed to being an officer and a gentleman for the rest of my life.
