Hi, Looking for people who share a like mind, and who want to play music together. I am relaxed, but disciplined and focused. I learn the songs, so practice is well used, but I also am open to new ideas. I am a guitarist and singer, acoustic and electric, looking for most other instruments: other guitarists, bassists, drums, violin, mandolin, banjo, you name it. Positive attitude and friendliness counts more than what the instrument is. Here are the specifics. I wrote and recorded a bunch of songs. I suggest you listen to them. These are my favorite bands, and main influences: The Dead, Squeeze, The Beatles, Neil Young, REM, U2, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground, X, Neko Case, Jason Isbell, Bruce, and I'm probably leaving some out. I love rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz. I would say I devolve to the rock and folk rock side of things by habit. I enjoy collaborating with other writers, too. I love playing my songs and working on them but it doesn't have to be the me show. I really love bands where people get together to create something greater than the sum of its parts, and multiple people get to sing. I don't have a practice space in my house, so that would be the first thing to nail down. I tried to practice at Guitar Center and didn't like it. If you have any better ideas, let me know.
