Seeking part time stable hand for working breeding farm in Bulverde, just north of San Antonio. I have been breeding Dutch Warmbloods for 30 years and raise them up for dressage and eventing. I currently need help with basic stable work as well as some handling of young stock. Your duties would include: -stall cleaning and general barn/stable maintenance -cleaning tack -feeding -routine handling of young horses and broodmares -occasional exercising of more experienced sale and show horses depending on your experience -some light ranch maintenance including mowing and minor fence repair. Please have at least several years experience working with horses. Experience with young horses is a definite plus. General stable experience is also a plus, but not required if you are willing to learn. I like my barn to be organized and tidy and would like someone that would strive for the same. $15/hr. plus the potential of one of my retired horses for you to ride, again depending on your experience level.
