Facilities Crew Member - the ideal candidate is hardworking, energetic, and organized, willing to learn new skills while working as part of a team. The facilities crew member assists the manager and other departments in meeting daily needs and long-term goals. This person will help ensure a smooth and efficient business operation. The farm has been managed by the same family since its founding in 1893. The farm grows approximately 10 acres of crops, almost exclusively sold through the on-site retail store. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: -Management and oversight of primary work spaces -Infrastructure and equipment maintenance -Organization of walk-in refrigerators and freezers -Unloading and unpacking deliveries -Landscaping and groundskeeping -Inventory management -Driving for pickups and deliveries -General support of other staff -There are additional opportunities to learn about other areas of the business. Qualifications: -Ability to engage in teamwork, communication, and critical thinking -Willingness to learn new skills, share knowledge, and maintain a positive attitude -Strong attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment -Comfortable working with a diverse staff -Machinery and mechanical experience is an added value -Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and willingness to work outside in the elements (employees can build up to 50 lbs over -time, not necessary on day one) Compensation: Hourly - $15-20/hour - commensurate with ability and experience Please read more about us on our website and feel free to reach out with any specific questions.
