This week the Oakland Chinatown Safety Patrols will be joining the International Rally Unity Against Hate. This is chance for ALL AMERICANS, regardless of affiliation, community, race, ethnicity, or gender to come together for a National Rally throughout the U.S. on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at a single time coast to coast (2 p.m. EDT and 11 a.m. PDT) NOTICE: We will be meeting earlier this week at 11 am to coincide with the rally and raise awareness of our Safety Patrols in Oakland Chinatown. A march and rally is planned for 11 am to 1 pm followed by a community celebration. Meet at: Pacific Renaissance Plaza Fountain 388 9th St, Oakland, CA 94607 Look for me in black attire with a red and white "Safe!" sticker! Lets keep Chinatown safe! With recent developments in response to the Corona Virus, the Bay Area counties are once again issuing a shelter in place order for all residents as part of the widening attempt to halt the coronavirus outbreak.
