Description
i bought a gen1 38mm apple watch from savers in west roxbury. i was delighted by the good luck but i thought there has to be something wrong with it for it to be there. sure enough, when i got home to try and set it up, it was unformatted, and still linked to an apple ID via apple’s “activation lock” to protect lost or stolen devices.
i’m not sure how to contact the original owner. the apple ID starts with the letter K, but the rest is asterisked out.
did you accidentally donate your apple watch? was this your stolen device, donated by someone else? or maybe, did you intend to donate your watch but didn’t know to depair it from your apple id? i’m hoping to find this watch’s last owner and return it to them if they’re looking for it—or get it unlocked, because it’s a paperweight unless the activation lock is open
email me if you think this is yours, would be happy to share the serial number to see if this is your lost device.
