Hi, We are in the process of slowly restoring this Victorian Second Empire Home. It was originally built by the Cochrane family in or around 1877. We have found various items ( pics to be posted as I have time ) that we'd be happy to return to family members and or servants that have a history with the home. If no one claims the items we'll see if the Portage museum would like any of them. If you or someone you know have stories or photos of the home that you'd be willing to share we'd love to see them. Do you know a Jerome Mudge from Oswego? His name was written on some sort of wooden box we found. He may have been a construction worker on the house and it was his very odd shaped tool box.
