Lots of scammers in the "Pets" section of Craigslist. Be wary of anyone who wants your phone number and/or who will only communicate with you via text. Also, if something about the posting doesn't make sense, be extra cautious. There are lots of established, legit organizations from whom you can adopt a nice pet.
