Great cat needs a new home

This is Howie. He is the sweetest kitty. He is overweight and has had some skin issues, which are hopefully getting better. Howie is the happiest, most loving guy. He waddles around until he finds a place to plop down and purr. He’s a gentle giant, is good with dogs and cats. I got him too soon after my cat died, because my other cat was so sad. I thought he might want a friend, but instead he is just doing worse. It’s nothing personal about Howie. I really like him, but I have to prioritize my older kitty. So I would like to find somebody who will love him. Howie can be indoor/outdoor. He was an outdoor cat before I got him, but I’ve had him indoors for a few weeks and he has been fine. He needs to lose some weight. He has diarrhea sometimes, but this is improving with a GI-specific food and probiotic. He has pooped both inside and outside the litter box, I don’t know why. But I’m thinking if he gets outside, he will just poop outside like he used to. He is about 8 years old, is the vet’s guess. He had comprehensive bloodwork done a few days ago and everything looked great! I will give you a month’s worth of priobiotic powder (he really likes it) and a case of food. And 5 doses of flea medicine. Please let me know if you want to meet this roly-poly chunkster of love.
