Lab needs special person

Cola was born 5-9-2019 he is an energetic lab that is mischievous and likes to eat paper towels. He has a thyroid issue and even though treatment and testing isn't that much, I just can't afford it right now. He needs someone with patience as he gets nervous around people. He barks and lunges but if you hand them his leash he stops. lol He does great with other dogs at the dog park but never been around cats or children. He would be a great companion for a more experienced dog owner. He does know basic commands. Sit, down, touch, and look. leave it, drop it and give are based on when he feels like it. He is also housebroken and crate trained.
