Do you enjoy working on carpentry, plumbing, electric, and other building maintenance jobs? Do you want to join a great team for the long run? We are looking for a full-time maintenance person to join our property management team as Lead Maintenance Worker. Our company owns and manages our own apartment rentals in Philadelphia. As Lead Maintenance Worker, you will perform tasks such as apartment turnovers and general maintenance for our apartments. We need someone who has experience in building maintenance and general construction, someone who has strong attention to details, and someone who can work independently. You should be able to work through problems and think creatively. Assuming it goes well, this is a long-term position. You will be a very important part of our team. Pay: $1000/Week+ depending on qualifications (40hrs / wk) Duties/Responsibilities: Respond to maintenance requests Conduct regular inspections of apartments Fix damages after tenants move out Contact third-party technicians when necessary Document repairs made on our properties Communicate with the building manager and management team on a daily basis Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge and ability to complete general carpentry and maintenance repairs Knowledge and ability to complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs Ability to use hand tools and power tools Excellent organizational and time management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate with Tenants and Building Management team in a thoughtful and professional way Ability to work with other maintenance team members if needed How to apply: #1 - If you are interested, please respond to this ad with your name, cell phone number, and a few sentences about yourself - including a description of past experience you have with building maintenance, what type of work you are looking for, what pay range you are looking for, and when you can start. #2 - After you reply to this ad, our recruiting coordinator will respond to you with follow up steps.
