Pet vaccines prevent many potentially fatal contagious diseases and are often required by groomers, boarders, and dog parks. Vaccination is especially important for puppies/kittens, pets who have never been vaccinated, and pets that are often around other animals such as at grooming facilities, parks or kennels. Pet microchips serve as a form of permanent identification and when properly registered, help reunite lost pets with their family.
