Description
I have 3 surrendered boys that I’ve had for just over a month quarantining and they are now ready for a new home. They CANNOT go with other rats as they are semi aggressive to new comers so it is best they stay as a trio. They are located in Salem so if interested let me know. A adoption application must be filled out (via email) and approved before anything’s final so serious inquiries only. 🙂
Louis (Russian blue Variegated): a ham for attention and pretty energetic, he loves running around during free roam, doing tricks for treats, and chasing cat toys. He was a big fan of the dig box. He can an ass to his cagemates and is definitely acts like an alpha over them. but will also snuggle and cuddle up with them. No aggressive behaviors or biting, just pinning, power grooming, and gets kinda puffy. He tends to get a bit jealous if others get a treat in front of him, haha. He really loves being pet while he’s sleepy, especially his head and behind his ears.
Darcy (Russian blue Variegated): Darcy is somewhaf shy, though he let me handle and pet him without issue. He has nipped me once and drew blood, when I tried to nudge him out of the hammock he was shredding to bits, but he hasnt exhibited aggression to any rat or myself other than that instance. He is usually pretty passive but I think puberty/testosterone has made him a little fiestier. He will sometimes give a few licks to your fingers and likes head pets when hes sleepy.
Benji (black Berkshire): Benji is the most skittish, he tends to run under the cage with loud noises during free roam, but he will come out when he's comfortable and explore. He seems more shy and reserved than the other two and is the last to come out for free roam. He likes to burrow and dig under blankets, and will sometimes chase cat toys if he’s in the mood. He's not been a problem to handle though, sometimes a little squirmy, and will accept pets when he's sleepy.
