Elk Grove based commercial contractor has an immediate opening for a warehouse associate to perform the following tasks: .Receiving, handling, loading, & delivery of material and equipment required for active construction projects throughout the Chicagoland area. .Obtaining & processing job related eqpmnt orders from warehouse, yard stock or designated supply facilities. .Expediting / delivering job orders to work sites via company vehicle(s) and or / working in concert with delivery driver personnel. .Maintaining the entire (warehouse & yard) work areas in order to be kept clean, neat and orderly. . Qualifications: .Knowledge of electrical materials, components, tooling, etc., a major PLUS but not necessary. .Have a firm mechanical aptitude and good organizational skills in order to adapt into a construction work environment. .Have an open mind for developing warehouse job skill enhancement and having the ability to absorb, retain & implement basic (employer provided) instruction & training information related to supporting a Construction process. .Must be able to physically lift or move heavy objects and have basic fork lift truck knowledge. .Must have desk, laptop & I-phone computer skills .Submit to a drug test and be a non-tobacco / drug user. .Must have covid vaccination validation card .Must have a clean driving record. Having a CDL or class B license a plus.
