POSITION TITLE: Hab Crew Trainer LOCATION: Lancaster QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum one year experience effectively performing janitorial/ housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and/or other type(s) of relevant industry work experience. Training/supervisory experience preferred, particularly working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must possess ability to interact effectively with persons served and to effectively train, supervise and direct their efforts in completing contracted tasks. Excellent communication skills and acceptable written skills required. Must have valid CA D/L, good driving record and be over the age of 25 years old to be insurable thru company insurance. Must pass fingerprint and drug test. Class B w/passenger endorsement preferred, not required. High school graduate or equivalent. CPR/First Aid certification required. GENERAL DUTIES: Primary responsibility is to provide specific vocational training (i.e. housekeeping/janitorial) and supervision to persons with developmental disabilities at various community-based work-site(s), while completing contracted services for DH customers. Ensure trainees perform work duties in a safe, efficient, and quality manner to effectively fulfill contract specifications within require timelines and guidelines. May be required to work outside year round.
