Description

Rehoming Small american pit bull terrier. Please read full post - american pit bull terrier - 2 months old, male, short hair. Weighs 17.5 pounds and is full grown. House trained and crate trained. Sleeps in crate at night. Had puppy classes. Knows basic commands. Has been neutered and up to date on shots. Currently on heartworm and Nexgard Flea and Tick preventative meds. Probably best if he is only pet. Great for a retired person. Needs someone who is home most of the time. Does not like to be alone. Does NOT like big dogs or cats. He is energetic but wants to always be with someone. If you sit, he will want to be on your lap. Will come with sweater, collar, leash and food. Will need to be on a lead or leash when he goes outside and watched while outside. He can escape through a fence since he is so small. Not much of an outdoor dog, likes being indoors. We just aren't home enough for this cute little guy since I need to work more hours. Will only go to a good home/family. Will be very picky in choosing who he goes to. Needs to be someone local to Dayton areas so I can do a meet/greet and a home visit to ensure a good home for him. There is a rehoming fee. Extra for his crate and bed and meds. Email or text with information about your family. Summer is around the corner and mice and other varmints are looking for a place to stay cool!... In your barn, in your workshop, in your outdoor garage, maybe even in your RVs and campers. Instead of using costly and dangerous chemical pest control, save a life instead! Midwest Community Cat Alliance helps find homes for cats in local high-kill animal control facilities in Southeast Missouri, St. Louis, and some surrounding rural counties. Periodically we find cats that would not do well in a traditional home. These are working cats, former street cats, that are used to outdoor life. They prefer minimal to no human contact but will happily tend to your mouse/shrew/mole problem. These cats work well in barns, garages, workshops, wineries, breweries, and warehouses. They have nowhere else to go and will be euthanized if no working home for them can be found. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, and treated for fleas and parasites before placement. Our requirements for placement of your barn cats: A SECURE PLACE, inside an outbuilding, to kennel them for 3-5 weeks. This enables them to learn where they will be fed, and who is feeding them, greatly increasing their chances of sticking around and surviving on your property once they are released. If released early, they will often run off in search of resources and die. **If you are located more than 90 minutes away from Farmington, MO, you must provide your own large crates or pay for us to bring them out and leave with you.**
