Description

Are you looking for a happy, fun girl to join your family and do you want to be the hero in a shelter dog's life? MEET SUKI... A Catahoula/Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is a wonderfully sweet, playful girl. Very energetic. Not only does she know some commands, but she has manners too. Like not jumping up on people. She has all the good stuff people want in a pup and a one thing they don’t want. Suki is great with people, plays with toys, you can even take the toy out of her mouth, no issues. She has been here in the shelter since March 4th…. That’s over 3 months for a happy, energetic sweet girl to be kept in a kennel. She needs out, she needs to run and play, chase balls and play Frisbee. She loves to play tug and tag. Suki is seeking a loving, indoor home so she can spend her days with her family, snuggle up in a big doggie bed with them at night, and would love a big fenced yard in which to romp, play tug and catch a frisbee with her new owners as well. Suki is looking to be the only furry princess in her new home as she doesn't care for other dogs. SUKI - ID#A509264 I am a spayed female, blue brindle and white Catahoula and Staffordshire Terrier mix. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years old. I weigh approximately 62.00 lbs. ADDITIONAL BEHAVIOR NOTES: Took Suki out to the play yard for some pictures and videos. She was so much fun. Lots of energy, loved to play "keep away" and "tug" with the toys. She would run and pick up a toy, then come back and run circles around handler until handler grabbed a hold of the toy, they she would play tug for a moment. Drop toy and repeat. Very happy girl and very sweet. Did not jump up on handler, sat for treats, easy to leash and walk to the yard with just a little pulling. Wonderful, loving, playful girl with lots and lots of energy plus, she does have some manners. ml Interested adopters - please visit Friends of Moreno Valley Shelter Animals on Facebook if you wish to view her videos. The shelter's adoption application is located on the City of Moreno Valley Animal Services website and must be completed submitted to be considered for adoption. Suki has had her vaccines, including her rabies, and her spay was donated so she is ready to leave immediately with her new family. Adoption pick ups are by appointment only. The shelter is open Tuesday - Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday).
