Mystery Friends at Comet Ping Pong's Outdoor Music Series Dance rock and synth-pop based in Washington D.C ALL AGES Mystery Friends Mystery Friends at Comet Ping Pong's Outdoor Music Series Wednesday, June 9th 2021 7pm seating | 7:30pm show Mystery Friends bring their dance rock and synth pop to Comet Ping Pong's Spring Outdoor Music Series. Beginning May 26th and continuing into July, Comet will present a series of 7:00 pm concerts in the Comet Ping Pong parking lot for a limited audience of pre-reserved, seated, dine-in guests. The Spring schedule - attached - features artists ranging from folk and bluegrass to indie rock and synth pop and each performance will feature a comedy opening act to be announced.   Tickets will be sold via our website - through Eventbrite - by purchasing a table which seats up to 2, 4 or 8 guests per table.   There will be a 2 drink minimum for all attendees, food and drinks will be available to purchase from Comet Ping Pong, Buck's Fishing & Camping and Muchas Gracias.   Ticket prices: 8 top table: $60 4 top table: $30 2 top table: $15 In the event of rain, this concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, June 17th. *** MYSTERY FRIENDS https://mysteryfriends.bandcamp.com/ Mystery Friends is a dance rock and synth-pop band based in Washington D.C., The band combines powerful vocals from frontwoman Abby Sevcik with woozy synths, angular guitars, and a funky rhythm section. Since forming in 2016, the band has performed in venues across the country and their music has been described as “a captivating journey, swinging from melancholy to euphoric and back again over a spectacular series of dance rock tunes.” After releasing their debut full-length album, “Past And Future Self” in the summer of 2019, the band looks to take on the new world, post-pandemic, with new music ranging from disco-tinged dance tracks to wistful synth reflections.
