Indique is an internationally known hair extension brand with retail boutiques and distributors across the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America. We are looking for full Picker/Packer to fulfill orders at our corporate offices in Needham, MA. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work independently and also be an active part of our close knit team. We are looking for someone who is able to effectively multi-task and handle a fast paced deadline driven work environment, fulfilling and packing orders in our warehouse—along with other daily warehouse tasks. The schedule for this hourly position is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These hours are subject to change. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Demonstrate strong attention to detail • Assist with administrative tasks as requested • Receive and unpack shipments in a timely manner • Record incoming deliveries and outgoing orders • Pack client orders daily and prepare for shipping • Pack Boutique orders daily – there are currently 10 Boutiques with weekly shipments • Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labeled and contain all required additional information/paperwork • Organize and prepare shipments for UPS, FedEx, etc. as required • Shampoo and clean hair bundles as needed • Preparing product for sale (e.g. ribbon, tag, combing) • Assist Quality Assurance Department with cleaning and testing product to ensure company standards are met • Assist with end-of-month inventory count and reconciling • Perform inventory of shipping/fulfillment materials and supplies (packing tape, printed materials, shipping labels, boxes, etc.) Job Requirements: • High School diploma or GED equivalent required • Computer and data entry skills; working knowledge of MS Excel, Word • Accurate record keeping including basic math skills • Experience in shipping & receiving, internal distribution or inventory environment preferred, but not required • Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to carry an assignment to completion • Strong work ethic with solid work history • Verifiable references Working Conditions: • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Frequent bending and turning while supporting packages of various weights • Repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling Compensation: • $17/hour • Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K • Free product bi-monthly after two months of service • 30% employee discount for purchases To apply, please respond by with a copy of your resume and a cover letter indicating why you are a great fit for this position.
