Each kid can take home a trout of their own from Shady Lakes on June 5th 10am-12pm. Fishing poles and lunch will be provided. Shady Lakes Fishing Fun Start summer break fishing at Shady Lakes with Latino Outdoors. 9:30-10:00am We will meet to get everyone checked-in and fishing poles distributed. 10:00am-12:00pm Families can fish in trout lakes. Each child is allowed to take home one trout. We can assist gutting the trout onsite and will provide some delicious recipes if you are interested. Please bring a cooler with ice to transport the fish or we will have plastic baggies for you to take them home in. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided. *If you would like to attend and are in need transportation please reach out via email. About LO’s COVID-19 Guidelines After careful consideration and consultation with LO leaders about the resumption of in-person outings, we have implemented the following measures to allow us to safely gather in person while minimizing the risk of community spread: New policies and procedures Group sizes are limited to 35 people, including LO Leaders and participants. All attendees must wear a mask for the entire duration of the gathering, except when eating or drinking, which must be done while maintaining social distance. Anyone who feels sick or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 should stay home. In the case that someone begins displaying symptoms during an outing, they will be escorted back to their vehicle to go home and rest or separated from others until they can go home.As the pandemic evolves, so will our approach to keeping you safe. We ask participants to self-certify that they do not have symptoms, have not been diagnosed with or had direct contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, and will comply with LO’s safety policies and procedures including wearing face coverings, physical distancing, and other determined requirements.
